Corrections

Provides security within the Detention Center by providing direct supervision to inmates, overseeing, and monitoring their activities within a module or assigned area.  Assists in the booking process by controlling inmates, conducting searches, taking mug shots and fingerprints.  Directs the movement of inmates within the Detention Center and Justice Facility. Inspects cells and other areas for contraband, maintains order within the facility.  Supervises inmates engaged in work details inside and outside the Detention Center.  Conducts transports between detention facilities, hospitals, and other required appointments. Protects the Federal and State constitutional rights of all inmates.  Oversees the safety, security, and dignity of all inmates and detainees within the Henderson Detention Center.
